Besan Puda is a popular snack in North India. Mostly, it is prepared in the rainy season due to its crispy texture and natural combination with tea. However, one can prepare and enjoy the snack anytime and in any season.
Besan Puda Recipe
Besan Puda is popular in North India as a tea time snack. It requires very fewer ingredients and it can be prepared in less than 10 minutes.
- 2 bowl Fresh Besan
- 1 bowl Chopped Onion
- 1 bowl Chopped Capsicum
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 cup Plain Water
- 1 tsp Food Oil
Take 2 small bowls of besan in one big size bowl.
Slowly add plain water to besan and start mixing to form a batter
Keeping mixing till the batter gets viscous and there are no balls of besan
Add salt, red chili, cumin seeds, and oregano
Add chopped onion and capsicum
Heat a pan and spread one spoon oil all over its surface.
Take some batter in a cup and spread it on a heated pan (As shown in pictures)
After two minutes, flip it to cook another side
Serve besan puda hot with bread slice
