Kadai Paneer is North Indian mouth watering recipe, it can be served with plain roti, tandoori roti, naan or rice. We have cooked this without using any milk cream or malai to make it a healthy cuisine.

  • 300 gm Paneer (Cottage cheese)
  • 3 Onion (Pureed)
  • 3 Tomato
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 1 tbsp Red Chili
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tbsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tbsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 Bay Leaf
  • 2 Cloves
  • 1 inch stick Cinnamon
  • 9-10 Coriander Leaves
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • Salt to Taste


  1. Heat ghee in a kadai and saute the cottage cheese pieces till golden brown.

  2.  Soak these pieces of cooked paneer in 5 cups of water.

  3. Take the same pan used to saute paneer and add some bay leaf, cinnamon sticks, cloves, ginger garlic paste and some spoons of onion paste. Saute the mixture well till it gets lightly golden in color.

  4.  Now, add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and little water. Mix it well and allow to boil for some time.

  5. Add tomato puree and pieces of panner kept aside to the boiling mixture and mix again.

  6. Cover the pan with a lid and cook for around five minutes till the oil of surfaces.

  7. Add some salt as per your need and garnish the dish with few coriander leaves.

  8. Delicious Kadahi Paneer recipe is ready to be served hot.
