Sooji Halwa is a traditional Indian dish which is made in every Indian home. It is mostly made when there is some religious occasion. You can also serve this to your guests after lunch or dinner as a dessert. It is very easy to cook as it takes very few ingredients easily available at home. Let’s have a look at the recipe.
Sooji Ka halwa
- 1 Cup Sooji
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 4 Cups Water
- 3 tbsp Ghee
- 5-6 Cashew
- 5-6 Almonds
- Few Raisins
Heat the pan. Put some ghee into the pan.
Then add sooji, roast sooji in the ghee until it becomes golden brown.
Add some water along with sugar. Stir the mixture continuously.
Crush the dry fruit and mix it into the halwa.
When water is absorbed by sooji, your halwa is ready to serve.
Serve this hot by garnishing it with dry fruit.
