Leftover chapati poha is an Indian breakfast dish. Sometimes we are left with some chapatis at night that we don’t like to eat on the next day. So we can use those chapatis to make yummy, delicious poha. It is very easy and quick recipe. Let’s have a look at the recipe.

  • 4 Roti
  • 1 Finely Chopped Onion
  • 2 tbsp Peanuts
  • 2 Greean Chilis
  • 1/4 tbsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 tbsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Curry Leaves
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Salt to Taste


  1. Cut the chapati into small pieces and then grind them into flakes.

  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves, when seeds crackle, add raw peanuts and fry them for 2-3 minutes.

  3. Then add onion, fry until it becomes golden brown.

  4. After that add green chilis, turmeric powder, and salt to taste. At the end mix chapati flakes into this mixture.

  5. Leftover chapati poha is ready to be served as hot. Garnish it with some coriander leaves.
