Pinni, atta laddu made from pure desi ghee are quite popular in India, especially Punjab. The sweet is mostly prepared in the beginning of winter season. Being full of dry fruits and essential seeds, the Punjab style pinni recipe is extremely healthy and best for the season.

Ingredients for Punjab Style Pinni Recipe
Desi Ghee – 1.5 kg
Atta (Wheat Flour) – 2 Kg
Sugar – 1 Kg
Almonds – 250 gram
Cashews – 250 gram
Walnut (Akhrot) – 250 gram
Fox Nuts (Makhana) – 100 gram
Edible Gum (Gond) – 100 gram
Muskmelon seeds (Magaz) – 100 gram
Dry Ginger Powder (Sund) – 50 gram
Dry Coconut – 2 (Crushed)
Desi Ghee – 1.5 kg
Instructions
Heat desi ghee in a big size pan until it melts
Add atta (wheat flour) and mix well
Once the flour gets golden brown in color, add makhanas in a powdered form and mix well
When the flour gets dark brown in color, add crushed dry fruits including almonds, cashews, and walnuts. Mix well.
Leave the mixture aside to cool down and then make balls as shown in the video.
Note: You can also keep the portion of the mixture and eat it as it is with a cup of tea or hot milk.
