In India, people are very fond of tea. An Indian who drinks tea usually consumes more than two to three cups of tea in a day. The most common snack that is served with tea is biscuits. Biscuits are mostly prepared from white flour (Maida), which takes time to digest. Considering, the fact many people have shifted to biscuits made from whole wheat flour. Wheat flour biscuits are healthy and easy to digest. The best part, you can easily bake these biscuits at home. So, let’s take a look at the whole wheat biscuits recipe in detail.

Ingredients Required for Whole Wheat Biscuits Recipe

  • Whole Wheat Flour (150 Grams)
  • Sugar (90 Grams)
  • Desi Ghee (50 Grams)
  • White Flour (Maida) (15 Grams)

How to Make Whole Wheat Biscuits At Home

  • Take 50 grams of desi ghee in a pan, heat for five minutes, and then turn off the flame
  • Mix 150 grams of whole wheat flour in the warmed desi ghee
  • Add 15 grams of white flour (maida) to the mixture and stir well
  • Take an oven-safe tray and cover it with a baking sheet
  • Take stainless steel kitchen press, choose a mold plate of your choice to give a specific design to the biscuits, and fill the gun with the prepared mixture.
  • Now, operate the machine to get biscuits of similar shape and length
  • Keep placing the biscuits on the tray one by one
  • Preheat the oven to 160 degree Celsius
  • Put the tray in the oven and bake the biscuits for 20 minutes
  • Now, bake the biscuits for five more minutes at 180 degree Celsius to get that perfect golden brown color
  • Take out the tray and let the biscuits cool down for half an hour or so
  • Your homemade biscuits are ready. Enjoy them with morning and evening tea
